Vickie Coletti and Beth Bergstein met in the fall of 2006 through a mutual friend. The two women, who lived less than a half a mile from each other, would soon become good friends. The two moms, who also had prior successful business experience, were eager to rejoin the business world and began sharing ideas about their mutual passions, food and cooking. Through the years, Vickie had developed nuts with a distinct flavor that she served at her dinner parties. The first time Beth tasted them, she said “we have to market these”.

The two women began standardizing and perfecting different recipes. In 2007 the Nu Taste Nut Company was born in a home kitchen in Englewood , New Jersey . The women would begin the company by premiering the top six favorite flavored almonds. Vanilla French Toast, Simply Sesame, Smokin Southern BBQ , Cayenne Kickin Cajun, Sensational Salad, & “Splenda ® ”dly Cinnamon were introduced.
